Teachers Onboarding

We take great care in selecting teachers who are not only qualified but deeply passionate about working with children. Our hiring process focuses on finding individuals who align with our values, demonstrate warmth, and bring diverse cultural perspectives. Once hired, every teacher goes through an extensive onboarding process that includes hands-on training, observation periods, and a gradual transition into the classroom to ensure confidence and alignment with our high standards.

Professional Development

Our commitment to growth doesn't stop after hiring. We offer monthly professional development sessions that meet and exceed EEC requirements, covering topics such as curriculum design, child development, and classroom management. Additionally, we actively support teachers in continuing their education by helping them access grants and scholarships for college courses—ensuring they stay inspired, informed, and empowered in their careers.

Teachers and Mentors

Our Mentorship Program pairs new and developing teachers with experienced educators who provide personalized guidance, feedback, and encouragement. This program has become a cornerstone of our success, helping teachers build confidence, deepen their practice, and feel truly supported as they grow. The result is a collaborative, reflective teaching culture where everyone learns from each other and thrives.
Our Mission

How to become GCS certified Teacher

Becoming a GCS-Certified Teacher is a process that goes far beyond meeting minimum qualifications. While all candidates must hold the appropriate EEC licensing and pass our selective hiring process, certification at Global Children School is earned through a deeper commitment. It begins with a thorough onboarding experience, including classroom shadowing, health and safety training, and alignment with our unique educational approach rooted in global awareness, intentional play, and multilingual immersion. To achieve GCS Certification, teachers must demonstrate consistent classroom excellence, actively participate in our structured mentorship program, and fully embrace our core values and teaching philosophy. This includes the ability to design meaningful learning environments, guide children with empathy and purpose, and collaborate with colleagues across cultures and disciplines. Certification is not automatic—it is awarded to those who continuously grow, reflect, and contribute to the thriving educational community we’ve built. GCS-Certified Teachers are seen as leaders in their practice, trusted role models for their peers, and deeply valued members of our team.
“A successful marketing plan relies heavily on the pulling-power of advertising copy. Writing result-oriented ad copy is difficult, as it must appeal to, entice, and convince consumers”

Message from the Founder and Visionary Tatyana Martelli

In today’s interconnected world, addressing global challenges—whether economic, environmental, or diplomatic—demands a new kind of education. At Global Children School (GCS), our philosophy is built on the belief that early childhood is the ideal time to lay the foundation for cross-cultural competence, multilingual fluency, and global awareness. We create immersive, multicultural, and multilingual environments that support not only language development but also cognitive flexibility, critical thinking, focus, creative problem-solving, and mindfulness. These environments help children develop the intercultural mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly global society. At GCS, learning is driven by real-world experiences. Through problem-based projects, collaborative exploration, and a strong emphasis on sustainable development, children build a deep understanding of how the world works. We support personalized learning pathways that integrate music, technology, health, and emotional development—allowing children to self-direct their learning and stay intrinsically motivated. From infancy onward, we capitalize on the brain’s natural plasticity to shape lifelong learners. We view families as essential partners in the educational journey and place each child's curiosity, voice, and well-being at the center of everything we do.
